Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Synapsi. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You keep ownership of everything you upload, record, or create with Synapsi: your recordings, transcripts, notes, and flashcards ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to operate the Service for you: transcribing audio, generating summaries, and syncing across your devices. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.

You agree not to use Synapsi to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to record or process.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Resell or redistribute generated output as a competing product.
• Violate any applicable law, including your institution's academic-integrity policies.

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. We email you before each renewal. To cancel a web subscription, reach out through our Help center; access continues until the end of the paid period. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed and managed by Apple under their terms. Refunds follow the policy described on our pricing page.

Synapsi uses automated systems to generate summaries, flashcards, and answers. These can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on for an exam, deadline, or decision. Synapsi is a study aid, not a source of authoritative fact.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the platform.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Synapsi Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these Terms; we'll post the new version here and, for material changes, notify you by email. Questions about these Terms can go to legal@synapsi.app.
